It is so interesting to be a woman of this time. Moving from a large Irish catholic family in Philadelphia, I have lived and worked in New York City for over thirty five years. I have learned through education and advanced therapeutic modalities, psychotherapy and deep dreamwork how to break out of constructs that no longer fit.
It is exciting to be a woman of this time. I have a deep spiritual core that emanated from a convent life in my 20’s. I set out to find out who I really was in my 30’s through analysis, education and theatre.
In those years I met and married my husband a Professor of Journalism at Columbia University. Married for 27 years I was a stepmother with all that it entails. I wrote a play on Celtic myth and performed it Off Broadway. I wrote songs and used them in my practice with clients. I travelled a good part of the world, presented papers at Dream Conferences.
A Dream told me to sing so I took voice lessons for a number of years and began doing cabaret performances as fundraisers for causes I wanted to support.
